“ Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate .Therefore let us go forth to Him outside the camp, bearing His reproach.” ( Heb 13:12,13)
“Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.” (Titus 2:14)
This is the reason for His passion.. the motive for His Cross.. the joy set before Him.. to sanctify His children.. to purify for Himself a special people.. who carry His Name and form wherever they go.. a zealous people.. in good deeds:-
“.. that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.” (Phil 2:15) The Lord’s will is the holiness of those who believe in Him.. who walk in His ways:-
“ For this is the will of God, your sanctification.” (1Thess 4:3) It is a pure, holywill, that is very precious to His heart which carries everyone and contains them.. seeking their salvation.. which cost Him so much.. carrying pain and humiliation.. accepting them with love and joy.
